Given that I'd recommend a Glock over a Beretta, I'd go with the Glock. That is however, a design thing. I wouldn't pay full price for a Beretta when I can get a Girsan for just over half, I haven't seen huge quality difference between those two.

50 rounds is not indicative of anything. Try 500 in a single session and 5000 total before making a bold statement about reliability

50, 500 or 5000 rounds both guns likely wouldn't even malfunction once. IMO they (G17 and 92 design) are the most reliable 9mm pistols out there.

maybe consider glock 22 and conversion barrels?
