Glock 17 gen holster Question

Is there any issue with the ambi slide lock on the gen 5 when used in a holster designed for the older gen Glocks ?

I'm adding a gen 5 to the stable ,I'm happy with the holsters I have and don't what to reinvest in new ones , if I can avoid it .

Edit , My bad ,I wrote safety , meant slide lock .

yes some may not work without some playing around the no safety zone of the previous version.

newer gen 5 worked in older ones but not all some were loose.

My apologies , meant to write slide lock , not safety , its a Glock ,I'm a idiot , no safety . lol

ah ah no worries. the slide lock may be the issue.

In my experience, most required a little modification to clear the right-side slide stop lever. Not a big deal with Kydex/Boltaron (in most cases), a few minutes with a file and some steel wool, and a rinse, and (in most cases) you're good to go.

Most, if not all Safarilands that accomadate the Gen4 will fit the Gen5.

Thanks Guys ,I was probably over thinking the whole thing , sounds like it'd be a easy fix , my holsters are all Kydex ,
