Glock 17 magazine issue

Hey guys, so I finally picked up my Glock 17 and went to the range today. After I finished cleaning the firearm however, I noticed that the mags have a small grove being carved into the side of them by the slide. Is this normal and has anyone else had this issue? Will this damage my magazines in the long run? Thank you.

What gen of Glock with what ten Glock mags... Do you have a picture of the problem?

its normal.. everything has to get "worn" in... if you look inside the slide you will also see where the barrel hood rides

Its normal, as long as they function I wouldn't worry about it.

Normal "the plastic is just the outer shell, so no worries"
