$700 for a glock isn't bad, remember that the sights will significantly affect the price, IIRC night sights add about $70

That M&P is overpriced, they go in the 500-something. Can't be more than a Glock.

IMO m&P is never over priced. Just the sight that come with the gun is already worth that extra dollors. My G 17's fix sight is just a okay plastic sight.

Glock sights are perfect out of the box, just as any other gun with stock sights. I don't need bling-bling target sights or whatever so I can't speak for other people. I do 6"x4" 15 shot groups with my P226 9mm at 20 meters. Stock German sights, also known as combat sights.
