I contacted a few glock experts and got allot of suggestions and help. Here is what i have done to my G17.
Slide
Factory Barrel
Hienie Sights with thinned front
Lightning Strike Titanium Plunger
Lightning Strike STEEL Firing Pin
Wolff Reduce Power Firing Pin Spring
ISMI Captured SS Guide Rod
ISMI Flat Wire 13lb Recoil Spring
Frame
Factory Extended Mag Release
Polished (mirror finish) Factory Trigger Bar
Ultimate Trigger Stop
Polished (mirror finish) Factory 3.5lb disconnector
Competition Trigger Spring
Skate board tape
It took 2 weeks to get all the parts. Fitting and tuning the parts were fairly easy, just a couple hours of work.
Went to Barrie and tested it today, with the advice from Kent i only loaded 2 rds to make sure it wont go FA. I ran 200 rds no problems and will continue to test. The setup is pretty sweet, according to Canuck223 you could use a bucket to catch all the brass.
The factory barrel is very very accurate so i didnt get a KKM or Bar-Sto, i can get great hits as is. The upgrade in sights were a must, the factory ones are just too thick. The lighting strike plunger and fp really reduce the locktime, i couldn't beleive the difference. The guys told me to get the steel FP because many in the US had the titaniums break. I used a wolff reduce power firing pin spring as the included lightning strike spring is too light for guarantee primer ignition. I ran the ISMI rod non captured with the 13lb spring, works perfectly.
With the polished trigger bar and disconnector the break is very nice and crisp, it is the nicest glock trigger i have tried. The comp trigger spring quickens the reset.
I love the current setup, i think i have done all that is needed. Well, i might try a set of Dawson FO sights.
