but if you want striker fire with low muzzle rise S&W M&PL or pro is ok

Well what I hear is that it was placed on the PD approved list based on info from S&W that the trigger was 5+lbs. Their website indicates a trigger pull of 4.5 - 5Lbs. Borderline for PD.

The other issue is wear in. I used to shoot a M&P 9mm in PD. With absolutely zero trigger work the gun failed 2 out or 3 tries on the trigger test. This was after I put 5K+ through the gun to wear it in.

Could be a problem.

I have a G34 barrel. If I put this barrel on my G17 I could still be in production?
