Does anyone know if the Glock 19 Gen 3 and Gen 4 barrels are interchangeable? If one has a Gen 3, do they have to grab a Gen 3 barrel? Or can they use aftermarket Gen 4 barrel?
Yes They Are Interchangeable Gen 1-5 (this is applicable to 19s only IIRC, other Glock Gen 5 9mms have different Lock Ups due to single pin vs double)
Are aftermarket barrels really better then stock Glock replacements from factory?

I could not tell you, and most that try and tell you don’t actually know. The Gen1-4 Polygonal Barrel will be less accurate than the Gen 5 Marksmen Barrel based on design on rifling. Google the differences and you will see the physical examples.
accuracy is not limited to the barrel.
This Thread is on Barrels...... Nobody stated that accuracy was limited to the barrel. Just that one design is inherently more accurate due to its design on rifling. Usually the reason why people swap out Glock barrels and most likely why the OP started this thread.
did you shot a gen 1-4 and gen 5 aside to prove your point? not the marketing selling point ...
