Hello,
Just wanted to see how many of ya'll out there compensated your glocks.
I'm looking for Glock 19 specific compensators,
But ALL Glock compensators are welcome!.
:ninja:
Thanks

I've ran an Agency 417 on my G19 for about 20 rounds. It was... different, but didn't make my gun feel like a .22

Interested in this. What ammunition were you running? Could you describe the shooting experience? Did you take it off after the 20 rounds, or are you going to be shooting it more?

I’m running a tri-Delta break on my 19
It’s compact and reduces a lot of muzzle flip
but it likes the warmer loads to function properly.
I suppose you could swap out for a lighter recoil spring as well.

AE 124 and 147gr, and Sterling cross 124. I have a standard recoil spring assembly and the gun did not like the 147 grains, but performed well with 124’s. I didn’t really notice a recoil reduction, but I did notice that muzzle flip/vertical rise was tamed a bit. I think I had my hopes set too high on the impact this would make, and was underwhelmed. It does make an appreciable difference.

It got removed and put back in the parts bin after that first go. At best, it’s a novelty item for range days for my use.

Dark hour for Canadian G19

Has anyone used the
??
"Dark hour defense: Stand off compensator"
??
I've read a bit about not being able to use them on the Canadian edition 19s due to the slightly extended barrel

The Canadian edition doesn’t come with a threaded barrel, which you will need if you’re going to run a compensator.

That's the exact reason why i was looking at the Dark Hour defense model

No threaded barrel required.

However,

I did read that the 106 mm barrel was "too extended" for this easy mount comp

so,

I guess i'll do more research into the comps that require a threaded barrel

Any suggestions?

Ah, gotcha. I've never seen those before.

I would say that the most popular two on the market right now are the Agency 417 and the TBCRI Micro Comp.

Fair.
They don't seem to be that popular for some reason

I do enjoy the tomb raider vibe i get from them though

I'll give the 417s and the Micro comps another look, thanks for the information

I'm thinking they aren't popular because a lot of people throwing comps on a G19 are going for a Roland Special build, and that compensator/standoff device doesn't make that possible.

The Dark Hour Defense one is useless in Canada for a 19, you would need a prohib length barrel to make it work. They do not connect to the barrel and the 106mm on the Canadian Special 19 is too long. You'll have to look for a threaded barrel, and pick from there.

Yeaaah, Tis unfortunate. I will be looking deeper into the threaded barrel Comps since it seems like they are my only option.
