Anyone have a special trick with these? I have the 45 acp 10 round magazines the single stack, no luck getting the base off. Usually I use a punch and pinch the sides, that’s what works with my normal and extended ones. Any advice would be appreciated!

Single stack? G21 mags are staggered, double stack. They come apart like every other Glock mag, but if they have never been apart, they can be a bear.
Oh yeah sorry I mixed up my words, the 10 round ones that are for capacity compliant states and Canada. I think they also sell a 13 round one but this one just has 10 vertical slots for ammo count

I use a cheap $20 VISM mag tool that makes it way easier then just using a punch and having to press the sides of the mag body inward. It uses leverage and pops them right off with a squeeze in one hand

It uses this interesting limiting mechanism where there are ridges on the inside of the mag body. They are not quite single stack but less double stack than the regular ones. These limited ones only show 10 holes vs the reg capacity mag with 13 holes.

starw24 - the video above is good for these limited ones too. Both mag types disassemble in the exact same fashion. Though I find I don't need the clamp at all - just the punch.

Do you have a picture of the magazine? I'm guessing your magazine looks like the magpul 10rd mags for the Canadian market where you have to pinch both side of the mag to drop out the large baseplate assembly.
