Hey guys I did a search and couldn't find anything on the board pertaining to the Glock 21 Slim frame in RTF. I've had some range time with the 22, and the 17. But I picked up the 21SF(gen 3 non rtf) the other day and something about it felt right, it filled my hands a little more and felt really bad ass. More so than any other glock i've picked up with the exception of the 19/23 frame. I've searched through the retailers and never found it in the RTF. If anyone has one please chime in on your experience.

It exists for sure. I had one and stupidly sold it, when I got out of .45

They were a run for Arkansas State PD, extras were sold to public. Sporteque got some.

The G21 slim frame does not exist, period.

The G21 short frame, on the other hand, is fairly popular among those looking for a polymer .45.

Sorry, i've heard people say slim frame and short frame. Like it really makes a difference. Are they fairly soft shooting guns, the G22 was snappy as hell, and with the Gen 4 17 I had pretty tight groups after I warmed up.

Recoil is generally slower on polymers as the frame flexes.

You think 1911s are tame for recoil, G21s are very, very slow recoil. All thud, zero snap.

Even the G20 is pretty thuddy with most loads. Although max pressure loads of fast powders do give a little snap, maybe similar to a G22 with factory defensive loads, say.

Thanks for the reply, even though a 9mm is appealing due to the price of ammo, the 21 just feels perfect in my hands, more so than the 17 however I never tried it with the larger back strap yet.

Same here switching from 9mm to 45ACP. Reloading with Berry bullet 1000 45 rnds is just 50 bucks more than 9mm. Too bad Glock stock don't shot lead. Can reload 1000 rnds of 45ACP with lead 230gn for $80.

Need to do more research on after market barrels. Good to know LW is accurate with lead. On the lookout for a Glock 30 SF, have to get after market barrel, might as well go for Slim/Short/Small frame.
Lonewolf is always there. Very accurate with lead too.
