Glock 22 gen 3 issues?

I'm new to cgn so i didnt have any luck finding information my bad if there's a huge thread on it somewhere

So I found a new glock 22 gen3 that fits my budget but i had some concerns with rumors i heard. From what i understand there was a spring issues with the recoil of 40 s&w. Does anyone know if this issue has been resolved with newer gen 3 models? or was the gen 4 the solution? Or was it a rare issue that i should not be concerned with?

The only issue with some 3rd Gen G22's that I heard of was that some of them would not fire with a tac light on the rail. If the gun suits you, you won't have any substantial issues in normal use. The Gen 4 is NOT the solution to any problem except grip size - and may cause others.

Would you happen to know if you can swap a lone wolf 9mm conversion barrel into the 22 gen 3? It doesn't mention any differences between gen 3 and 4 on their website. Thanks again.
