Glock 22-P training gun aka the "red gun"

Is this real gun ?i want to ask that why glock 22 always selling cheaper than glock 17 even the same mfsp, is it the demand not so popular?if they are the same size frame, would the more powerful40 s&w make the gun ware and tare faster ? For gen3 g22, how can i built a recoil buffer ?

It is a training gun. It is restricted because the receiver is the same as any other glock 22 receiver but red. The internals in the receiver are all there. The barrel is not bored out and solid save for some holes to give it the same weight as a normal barrel and there is no firing pin. So essentially different slide assembly and legit red lower.

Needs an RPAL. More for trainers and glock collectors.

You don't need a recoil buffer. The gen3 glock 22 is a fine gun. The glock 17 is more popular as 9mm is more popular than 40sw.

I have a recoil buffer, i don't think it does anything except add spring tension...
I want that red glock!
How much to just buy it?

There are far more than 3 red guns in public hands. There were several released last summer to various glock dealers and by police ordnance. More than 10 less than 50 kind of deal.

Would need a full slide and barrel swap, but yes. The red part of the gun is a fully functional Glock receiver. The slide has no firing pin and the barrel isn't bored.
