Might want to look into getting a Lone Wolf replacement bbl. You can get a conversion bbl. so you can have a Glock 17, it is the same gun as the Glock 22. Also consider the Lone Wolf replacement bbl so you can shoot lead in your Glock. The stock Glock bbl. leads up quickly and it expands the brass so that the brass won't live long.
thats what they say..
problem here is yes it will work, but no its not 100%
.40 and 9mm have different guiderod springs and ejectors. you will have to technically run +p ammo or get the proper spring... not such a ig deal.
something i heard about the ejectors (havent seen first hand) is that the glock 22 with a conversion barrel makes the ejector tap the primers. not a big deal for spent rounds but if you have to show clear and you pull back hard apparently some people claim the ejector can set off the primer.... ive only heard this from 1 person.
so if you do this just be cautious.
as for not shooting lead in a glock barrel...well they also say you dont have to clean your glock.
i use aim projectiles and reloads in my glock 17 gen 4 all the time and have never had a issue. i always clean my guns after use very well, and frg lube the bore before shooting..maybe this keeps the barrel from gumming up as much or maybe its because aim projectiles are copper washed (not FMJ) and not bare lead.
yes, glocks do beat up the brass though.. but for 9mm they seem to re-size just fine. in the end of te day it is suppose to be a combat pistol, designed to just keep shooting, so it has loose tolerances, including the chamber, it has taken every bullet ive put in it..
