Glock 22lr conversion or CZ Kadet pistol???

IMHO the CZ Kit is the best of the .22 kits. I have tried several and the CZ is the only one that has yet to choke on ammo it was fed. The darn thing is dead nuts accurate sitting on top of any of my CZ platforms. In order to get meaningful practice out of the kit I usually set my IDPA/IPSC targets out at 25 yards. Closer than that and you have to really work at it to miss the Down Zero or A Zone and I am not that great of a shot.

I believe the secret to reliability and accuracy for the CZ Kit is the fact it only used a third of the slide to eject the spent cases. The rest of the slide is fixed. The slide on my Kit has never failed to lock back with the last round either which is nice.

Whether practicing with a .22 Kit has much value maybe up for debate but it sure is fun.

I look at the AA conversions each time I go to the local shop, but it doesn't seem like they offer that much in terms of economy if you have to run the more expensive .22LR ammo in them to get them to work.

The CZ Kadet pistol my friend has seems to eat anything...

I've heard that the new Tactical Solutions Glock .22LR conversion works with a wider variety of ammo than the AA and that the gun feels more like it does with the factory slide on it with the TacSol. Someone needs to bring those ones into Canada.

I have had a Kadet kit for a while now and do love it. Reliable, fantastic piece, but I too am considering glock .22 conversion. Anyone know if there is any available for the G19's with "canada legal" bbls?????

I'd love to have a conversion kit for my G19. Don't think they
Make one, though...... ?

I have owned both and like each equally. Both were eventually sold and now I run a Sig 226 / 22LR exchange kit. With the 226 kit, I miss the "last round hold open" feature that both the CZ and the AA provides.

I have a CZ Kadet pistol and for now, I have about 5000-6000 rounds down the pipe.

no problem at all, shoot everything, accurate, feel solid and look good !

little bit expensive $$, but keep a very good value even use

This is the first pistol I bought and it would be the last one to exit my safe.

Why can we not bring them in?

wouldn't they just be considered "parts"?
