Hey guys can you fit a G22 barrel to a G23? Would be nice to have a shorter gun stay in the country a little longer!! I may want to try this.

Nope, it won't fit.

It's the same with trying to use G17 barrel in G19.

However, a >105mm G19/23 barrel can be use in a G26/27. 8)

Did you find that out from Jo? You were the one who put this in my head you know!!! That 105mm barrel, where do you get them from?

Barsto and KKM Precision are 2 different manufactures of replacement barrel.

My next handgun purchase is going to be a G23 with an extended 107mm barrel and an AA 22Lr conversion kit. This gun combo will be for my wife.....

You can even get different caliber barrels for it.

Aftermarket barrel (like Bar-Sto) will do the trick plus will allow you to shoot lead bullets (if you're into that stuff). I have 3 Bar-Sto for my G29 (10mm, .357sig and 9x23) and so far so good !

How much are Barsto barrels for my Glock 22.I heard the quality is second to none!!It is always good practice to have an extra barrel, incase you blow up a barrel!!does anyone know if you have to have gunsmithing done to your barrel to fit it to your slide?

There you go!

Please note that a threaded barrel makes the G30, and G36 legal in Canada, too!

A much less expensive alternative. Questar? Are you listening? There is a thriving little cottage industry, here!

:) Yes... I'm "listening" :)

I have already put in an order from Bar-Sto for custom extended barrels for Glock 19 , Glock 23 and Glock 26. I know Bar-Sto products and trust them... they have a reputation as being "amongst the best in the industry". I have sent an inquiry to the outfit you mentioned here. I am a bit skeptical in that I don't know who's making the barrel... what the quality is like or anything else. I trust Bar-Sto and his products... these new guys I just don't know... but I will find out.

Bar-Sto offers two versions of their customs barrels. The most common is the "semi drop-in" which will drop in without fitting or modification about 95% of the time (in the case of Glocks nearly 99% of the time).

The other version is the "fitted" barrel. These are made intentionally oversized and require that they be properly fitted to the gun by a trained gunsmith. The fitted barrel will be tighter and will give even better accuracy... but the semi drop-in will still give a marked improvement in accuracy over most stock guns.

I paid around 200$ each.

I may be interested in buying a Barsto barrel fairly soon then.I have put Questar on my favorites.Once my wife turns her back ,I will be getting a hold of you!!! My G22 would be sweet with one of those!!Just curious though. The Smith & Wesson Barrels, can they be made to make a Smith Canada legal too?I have noticed so many Smith Semis going for $200-$400 bucks. Most sit forever waiting for a grand-fathered fella to decide he wants one.

Check out KKM Precision @ www.kkmprecision.com their barrels cost about $165.00 and are drop in.

I have a Barsto in my Colt Delta Elite 10mm and a KKM in my G20 and both are excellent accurate barrels.

If I where to purchase another barrel it would be the KKM.

Just for "knowledge sake" the link you gave (Novelty Guns) replied to my inquiry today. According to them, and I quote, "No More Barrels". It appears they don't have these (anymore?). The price did seem a bit too good to be true... but I tried :)

I'll stick with Bar-Sto. The product is absolutely first rate... they deliver what and when they promise... they stand behind what they make. Worth a bit more.

Placed another order this week for a bunch of 106mm barrels to make the G19, G26, G23, G27 and G30 "legal" for import as Restricted.
