So after a polishing job on my factory trigger, im impressed with the results but always curious about having a slightly lighter trigger. On a gen4 g17 whould I be okay to just swap out the connector? If so what are the better ones out there and does anyone know where one can be bought in canada??? Or any members have something good for sale?

Both my glocks have triggers at 2.75#s. But both have aftermarket kits (which were crafted from OEM parts). Disconnector helps, but its only part of it.

In addition to the trigger bar below, the kits come with chrome/plated plungers and reduced power plunger springs and firing pin springs.

I imagine that would produce the best results but I remember reading that adding just the "connector" works well on a gen 4. Have you tried that on one? I was also thinking it would be very easy to switch back to stock and cost effective...

I have ghost 3.5 lb connectors in all my glocks. IMO they make a significant difference to crispness of the glock trigger pull. They can be had from rockyourglock.com for 14.95 with 9 bucks shipping.

I put the glockworx connector and spring kit on mine, good change from what I can tell, I got a g4 g17 and shot about 50 rounds at range then put new kit on for another 50.

I got the spring kit and connector for about $20 when they were on sale

Did you install all 3 springs on your glock? I've been reading reviews on the 3 spring kit and folks are saying that if all 3 are installed, the safety does not reset if the trigger is pulled back to take up the creep before it breaks and then removing finger off trigger.

I would not and did not replace the trigger spring...some kits include a heavy trigger spring to make it easier to pull the trigger, but in my experience this made the trigger more spongy.

Try the disconnect along with your polishing, it might be good enough for you...if not, try the reduce power firing pin spring and reduced power plunger spring along with a chrome or polished plunger. You may want to try and round off the other areas on your trigger bar as well.

Keep in mind that a RP firing pin spring can produce light strikes....I added an extended firing pin when I did this

Last time I ordered from rockyourglock shipping was only $4.

...I've gotten the $25, 2 day express shipping for free before!

I installed the 3spring kit, I have no issues
