Glock 31 Barrel for Gen 5 G22 Conversion

Hi All

Is anyone aware of a place in Canada that currently has a G31 barrel in stock that would work in a Gen 5 G22?

I've been looking and keeping an eye on the EE but no luck so far.

I've heard that the gen 5 G22 has a recoil spring and locking lug setup like the compact gen 4 glocks (G19-23-32 etc...). If you were to get an extended aftermarket (4.5 inch) .357 sig barrel from a G32 gen 4 that could possibly work.

I've also heard that the Gen 5 G22 has a thicker barrel than the gen 4. Since they don't have a G32 in gen 5 it might not work well.

The only way this can be solved it through measurement with a vernier caliper.

Talk to Black Box Customs in Calgary, they regularly bring in Glock barrels. Harder to find ones too... Just bought a KKM from them for my 34 g5.
