My Glock 34 with non-adjustable stock sights consistently shoots high. At 10 yards, about 3 to 6 inches high.

I`ve had others try it. Including some people I consider to be good shooters.......it shoots high with them also.

I`ve tried hand loads / factory loads etc etc..........it shoots high.

What are my options? I do like the look and feel of the sights....but right now, they don`t quite work for me....

Tks.

you tried different weights too? albiet at 10yards 6inch's is a very long gap to bring back to center....

next time you go to the range take along a caliper with you.
Here is an equation to figure the exact distance you need to raise/lower your sight (It is only as accurate as you are. So measure well!)

Bullet impact from Point of Aim in inches multiplied by the Sight Radius between front/rear sight in inches divided by the Distance to the Target in inches

From you information Glock34 has a 7.32" radius... and i'll average 4.5" high shots. @ 10yards or 360 inches.

4.5 x 7.32 = 32.94/360 = .0915" OR 2.32mm So you need a 2mm or 2.5mm TALLER front sight.

First, shoot it from a rest (lead shot bag is great)

Second, if its high, move the rear site in the direction you want your POI to go (so lower it using glock screwdriver if it hits high)

G34 stock has adjustable rear sites, (third generation does anyways) leave the front alone.

The rear sight is probably plastic. Replacement rear sights sell on ebay for about $10, or less. They are available in 4 heights. You want the one 2 sizes lower.

Or, take a file and lower it and then cut the notch lower.
