There is an issue with the Glock sleeve where the firing pin slams against the bottom slot in the sleeve. Only way to replace the sleeve is buy a complete firing pin assembly and they are no where to be found up here.
Farrow industries makes a aluminum sleeve.
Anyone using one and did you get it direct from Farrow?

This is bummer news for whoever bought one for $2K at an auction not long ago? The G44 also had problems with the slides cracking? The G44 is Glock's swing and miss in my opinion...can't comment on Farrow's replacement sleeve aside from to say if that's the only practical option, why ask questions? Just buy it and try it?

2 grand for a G44...ouch, that said i love my Glock 44 hardly ever a problem with it. the odd stovepipe if im running crappy ammo,
but who cares im just punching holes in paper. i think a lot of the bad rap in the early years was guys loading the mags incorrectly

Yes. It was the first thing I bought for my G44. He shipped right here to Ontario. Highly reccamend it.

Not one hiccup with my G44. Run high-velo (not really high-velo, that can overstress things), and it will work flawlessly.

I've also glued a Vortex Venom on mine, with Permatex gasket silicone. Works great! The extra weight on the slide allows me to run higher-velo like Velocitors.

Can’t comment on cracked slides as I’ve never seen or heard of it but like any gun could and has happened. When I got mine a couple years ago I thought something was wrong with it as the trigger pull was well over 9 lbs and felt like there was gravel in it. After a polish and Mcarbo springs it’s down to 4 lbs which is ok.
Other issue was shooting too high and after talking to Glock in the USA they said a higher sight cures that and would send me one for free but can’t as I live in Canada. Guy said contact Glock in Canada, I did and he said no problem get that out to you right away. Been 1 1/2 years still waiting and he won’t reply to emails.
The place I bought it at answer was to buy $150.00 aftermarket sights which probably are better than the stock Glock ones but too much for a already overpriced 22 pistol.
I happened to go by BlackBox Customs on Friday and was blown away with Jeremy. He not only had the higher Glock sight but put in on and said have a happy day and wouldn’t take anything for it. He’s got a customer for anything Glock now.

I just ordered a couple of them. I like having spare parts such as springs, firing pins etc for all my guns but getting a spare striker for it appears to be very difficult.
After the polish and Mcarbo spring set mine will shoot anything I’ve tried in it. I do however run it fairly wet not quite like a 1911 but much more than any other Glock. I see why they include a stainless steel bore brush as it does lead up pretty bad when using other than copper washed.

If it is truly stainless steel you should never let it anywhere near your bore. Glock polygonal rifling will strip material from lead bullets faster than conventional rifling but if you clean it regularly (not every 500-1000 rounds) copper bore brushes will remove it with little effort. Or just go to powder coated bullets which will solve andy leading problem.

It’s a .22.

Whoops, sorry.
P.S. Still never use a SS brush in a gun barrel unless you love scratches.

Well that’s what Glock included with the gun. I found out that it sure doesn’t like Blazers as it leads really bad. Federal Auto Match not a sliver in the barrel or any copper washed ones.

Finally got the sleeves. Took some Emory cloth and cleaned up the sharp edges on the slot and installed. Gun functions fine and hope to get out in next while to fire it. Time will tell if this is a quality part that will fix an issue that some do and do not think the 44 has.
