Glock 48 Pre-Order $656.00

Jperos, look at what a pre-order means, you are financing the purchase you are pre-ordering......

That's a nice price. I'm very interested in this. Can't wait to get my hands on one and see if it's the one for me or not.

A pre-order is simply to help determine how many we should order in. It is NOT to finance the business.
Without pre-orders we could grossly over or under order. Neither of which are good for business.
We have learnt from our mistakes in the past basing orders off people on CGN saying they will buy XYZ product but when it comes to following through are MIA. We are left holding inventory costing money everyday. That's just bad business.

Sounds reasonable to me.

Still avoiding the questions other have asked

if a pre-order is made, it is a contract for an item at a set price.

If the price doesn't change and buyer wants to opt out, I can see an admin fee charged. If the seller changes the terms, the buyer should be able to opt out without penalty.

Regarless who the supplier is, if those terms are not kept, buyers should walķ away.

Not avoiding the question. It's the weekend and I'm answering on my own time.
We have only had to make a wholesale change to pricing on a pre-order once. The FX9. Every customer was contacted and offered a refund with no penalty. I know for some people thats just not good enough and they couldn't care less if we stay in business or not but I have a responsibility to 20+ staff first and foremost.

Not true. I pre-ordered a CZ P09 at said price and when they finally arrived you jacked up the price and and wouldn't honor the pre-order price. Never bought anything from Wolverine since.

I have always had good dealings with Wolverine and will deal with them anytime. They have done much for firearm owners over the years and I appreciate that. That being said I have never paid in full or partial from any dealer and only buy things when they have them in stock, it's just easier that way.

So we have some disgruntled customers posting in this thread. Good. I hope it makes them feel better that we all know they're disgruntled with Wolverine, and why. For those people, and those who are like-minded, there are other companies, and other pre-orders, made just for them.

Now that we have all that out of the way, can we return to our regularly scheduled thread, the one about how-to-get-a-Glock-48 into the hot little hands of willing customers who are not disgruntled with Wolverine?

These will all come out of the US.
Nothing wrong with that.
Glock shipped all milling machines to Smyrna, GA ..
even changed the electrical in the plant to EUR current.
The guns are identical.
The EUR gun grabbers have made it difficult for Glock, Austria to ship out of the EU for the private market.
That’s why there is a plant in Georgia, for the NA market.
If you bought a Glock 3-4 plus years ago, you could easily get Austrian.
There are still lots in the market, but you need to look if it’s important to you.

I sincerely hope you are wrong about it, I really wanted an Austrian made Glock. If I wanted American, I would buy a Ruger or Smith & Wesson. I am not American, so made in 'Mericaaaa does not mean the same thing for me.

I get all that. But they just don't feel the same. My older FDE Gen4 G19 IS better than the 2 Canadian G19's I had. I sold them both for a reason.
