Glock Backstraps

I use the medium because it brings it back up to the gen 3 size which is what I'm used to. I shoot well that way so I don't mess with it.

I currently use none, as it lets me reach the slide lock better. I tried medium and large and it made no difference in my shooting.

The medium beavertail blackstrap is superb. It is the finest mod for the Gen 4. It allows a nice high grip with no slide bite. Don't bother with any non-beavertail backstrap.

Another in favor of the medium beaver tail.
With a smaller back strap more of my shots drop a bit lower. Even though the beaver tail looks odd, it feels comfortable.

Ive owned several glocks and have yet to get slide bite, i dont know how its possible really. You can hold it as high as you want and it just wont happen. I guess we all have different hands, maybe if you have an abundance of flesh up there i dunno. I got big hands and its never been an issue.

Slide bite was always a bit of an issue with Glock for me. I have massive hands and use a high grip. The beavertail grip completely nullifies this issue for me. It also seems to slightly mitigate muzzle flip a tad as well.
