Glock chamber compared to others.

Not sure if this has been posted before.

People blame the glock KB's on the unsupported chamber. Here is a good serise of pictures comparing chambers.

Honestly, I don't think it is anything to write home about.

You know... I just got a Glock 22 barrel. I was expecting to see what you see in that pic, BUT! It's not that bad. I think that pic is either a) really old or b) modified to slag the G22.

I could take a pic of a recent G22 barrel (serial FEG***) and show you what I mean.

I found the picture on Glocktalk, and as a devout glocker I honestly do not think that it slags the glock.

And yes, I should have mentioned that is a Gen2 barrel in there (if that makes a difference)

P.S. The Springfield and HK chamber support is pretty impressive in those pics... If anyone is interested, that (the HK & Springfield) is exactly how the Glock .357Sig chamber looks at the same position

It's a 'Canon PowerShot A310'
The secret is to use Manual light Settings (white balance)... I too am very
pleased with it.

Canon digital cameras IMO are great.

I blame the unsupported chamber on feeding everything in my Glock. Part of their legendary reliability comes from the aggressive feedramp.

I don't think those pictures mean anything wihtout the extractor holding the casing, because if you try that with the barrel in the slide, with the extractor holding the round (with he upper still removed), you can see that with the extractor pulls out on the round even more. That would be the true iginition point, neglecting any out of battery strikes.

I can see the difference when I try this with my Glock using two different caliber barrels.
