Glock dual recoil spring gen2?

So the new gen4 glocks come with a dual recoil spring. (maybe gen3 does too, i don't know). Can these springs be installed in a gen 2?

If so, where who sells them?

I could be wrong but I thought the recoil spring slide cut out was different on gen 4.

ps: compact glock before Gen4 already had dual recoil springs

I have a Gen 4 G22 and a Gen 3 G17 and there is no way that the Gen 4 recoil spring will fit in the Gen 3.

You're right, gun was widened slightly to fit the new springs.

There was nothing wrong with the old spring.

The spring makes the 9mm less snappy when shooting compared to the single spring...I think it's a small improvement that made the Glock better.
