...This past year AcuSport began distributing the full line of Advanced Armament Suppressors and their bringing Glock on board to produce factory threaded barrels is a Win/Win for everyone in the market. Initial runs of barrels are for the Glock G19 (9x19mm) threaded M13.5x1LH and the Glock G21 (45Auto) threaded M16x1LH.

These barrels are an exclusive to AcuSport, who began taking orders from Dealers in January.

If only our laws had common sense in them, we'd all have suppressors on our pistols. Reduce a lot of noise complaints at outdoor ranges. Also adding 4 to 6 inches to the end of the gun makes it pretty near impossible to conceal.
It's unfortunate that hollywood makes it seem the "silenced" gun makes a deadly mouse fart.

My hope, is that we can get some stock size glock19's out of this, as I believe the threaded barrel is slightly longer than the canadian barrel. That'd be pretty cool.

I think that is why Wendell posted it, being the nice chap he is.:)

That would be awesome to get some factory extended 19's up here. (IDPA?:D)
Even US laws are pretty goofy when it comes to supressors being CLIII and all.

Aftermarket barrels are the next-best thing, but OEM barrels would be the best thing.

IPSC Production Division and 100% reliable function are two good reasons to want an OEM G19 barrel.

I think we can infer from the other recent thread on this topic that Questar Mark will try and get some... if and/or when the U.S. distributor actually has some available to sell to anyone... which they currently do not.

I will definitely buy at least one if Questar brings some in, as I have two G19's and two G23's, and they are some of my favorite pistols.

In the mean time, the IGB Austria barrels with tenifer finish are by far the best barrels we can get for GLOCK 19, 23, etc. in my opinion.

Anyone know why the left-hand thread?

I'll toss out some speculation.

Perhaps the twisting/torque of the pistol when firing with a RH thread design was causing the supressor to loosen; this is usually the reason for LH threads in any design (including bench grinders / lawnmower blades, etc.)

Again, just an assumption.

+1 on that. the torque of the pistol when firing causes a natural trend of twisting the threaded device to the right.
