Glock G22 Gen 3

A little more snap to the .40..never found it to be un manageable... the g22 soaks it up pretty well...it was my fave Glock for quite a while..

That's definitely a good price, and anyone who gets one will undoubtedly be happy with it, however there is design flaws with the Gen 3 22 in that it uses the same recoil spring assembly as the 17 (9mm). That's why they redesigned the RSA in the Gen 4's to accommodate the recoil of the .40. Glock was pretty adamant about using the same RSA in 9mm models and .40 models, until the Gen 4 9mm's started having issues, and then they just redesigned the 9mm RSA's. Is the Gen 3 22 a good gun? Yes. But I would prefer the Gen 4 22.

I'm a fan of the 40 cal. Shot from my Glock 22. Manageable recoil. No complaints from me. I did just purchase a Glock 23 from Questar, still in the CFO marsh, so I don't have it yet. My two cents.

You can buy the G22 (at the sale $600 ish range) & the extra G17 or an aftermarket barrel for the same price as just buying a G17. Thats how I did it.
