Glock gen4 night sights, a little clarification from the owners?

So I made an order for a glock gen 4 with night sights about a month ago. After the first couple weeks I called to see how things were moving and was told the gun was in store, it was just a matter of waiting for the night sights to come in.

About another week after that another call was made to inform them that I would be going on vacation for a week, and a day that I would be back so I would actually be around to receive the gun.I was informed that it was almost ready and that they were just putting on the new sights.

So I receive my gun and everything seems to be in order, however no night sights, I call to find out what happened and am informed that the sights will be coming at a later date and separate, and will now have to put them on myself.

So my question is this, is this normal procedure? My view on this was the sights were going to be on the gun with the initial order, not to mention I was told the delay in the first place was the wait for the night sights to come in,now only to find myself waiting again, and now need to pay for them to be installed.

This may just be an error on my part, but the way I understood it was to be on the gun itself.

Thoughts on the issue? Any clarification from badger? thanks.
 
Sights

While putting on sights on staff scratched the aluminated surface of the rear sight.
We did not want to send a scratched product or for it to be sent late. We decided to ship and send you sights when they arrive.
Any gun smith will put them in for $30.
If you want we would be happy to pay the charge.
Have the gun smith call us for payment!

sounds very reasonable to me.with service like this and the great pricing i'll definately be making a purchase from badger again.my first purchase was a flawless experience and to see how they deal with different situations that can arise gives me even more confidence to keep dealing with them :rockOn:
