hi glock guys

wondering if by installing a .40 cal firing pin in a 9mm glock would improve ignition on light trigger job, been told bu others yes but would like some more info before doing so.
* as well looking for some non captive long guide rods 4" in lenght*

thanks

Firing pins appear to be common between all small frame pistols, so I would suggest this is a rumour at best.

I have an older Glock and I changed the striker spring to a slightly heavier one to improve reliablity. It made the trigger slightly heavier. I would only change the striker if it is worn or if you have a fancy titanium one.
