My buddy as bought a Glock model 22 in .40 caliber and he noticed that when the slide is opened the barrel seems to be bent upwards.

He as also noticed that the bullet hits slighly higher than his aiming point.

He bought this gun brand new in 2004 and he noticed that only last year. The gun has seen only about 250 rnds throught it.

Does the barrel go back in place when closing the slide ?

Can someone tell me if the glocks are all like that ?

My first thought after reading this post was to give a jacka55 responce, but I won't.
However I'm not going to answer you directly either.
Tell your friend he needs to spend more time with his G22. Not just at the range,
but at home (unloaded of course) looking it over, cycling the slide, studing the
function and operational movements of Glock's design. He will then answer his own question. Every shooter should be functionally 'in-the-know' with every firearm the own.

You have to 'float' the target/POA (point of aim) on the front site. Rest the POA
just on the top. May take some getting used too but the front site doesn't obstruct the target.

Its normal, alot of pistols have a tilting barrel, barrel tilts up after the bullet has left the barrel so dont worry about that effecting accuracy.

Thanks Guys ! I will let him know. I wish I had the answer myself, but since I am more the Antique gun type of guy and I have never seen a pre-1898 mfg glock ;) , I had to ask those who know ! :D

Thanks again !!!
