Glock or S&W M&P?

....For those restricted to range use killing sheets of paper along with assorted tin cans and plastic pop bottles, the extra cost and recoil of the 10mm is an excellent place to put your shooting dollar! Not that I'm knocking it of course... I have a brother who persistently enjoys whacking holes in paper practically every other weekend with full power loads out of a .416 Rigby.

To each his own...

Exactly right. 10mm isn't cheap...but it is a lot of fun.

I'm with Jawsman though. If your hands are big enough get yourself a G20 and a .40 conversion barrel from Mark at Questar. Add an AA .22 kit and you are set. You then have a .22 when money is tight, .40 for regular use, and 10mm when you want to light your lane up and have people ask what you are shooting.:D

The thing that tips the scales for me is the interchangability and availability of Glock parts. The M&P is an equally good choice if it works for you. My Glock works for me. See if you can try both and find out. If you have a box of factory to use I've found most guys at the range are happy to let you try their gun...Good luck choosing its a hard call.
