Glock parts life question

Quick question for old school Glock users here.

Are there general guidelines/parameters as to when components should be replaced ?

Specifically...firing pin/spring, guide rod spring, firing pin safety/spring, extractor, ejector (or any others)

Have a G34 G3 with around 14000. Asking the question because I figure at some point components must wear out.

No issues with the pistol btw, just preventative maintenance thoughts.

I would replace the guide rod spring every 5000rds or so

The rest I would not be to worried about

IIRC glock recommends a spring change and a detailed disassembly and inspection every 5000 rounds or so for best reliability.

Yep, the recoil spring every 5K, you should do the trigger return spring as well(the tiny S shaped sucker in the back). Extractors if they're worn or chipped. The rest, its your choice.

I have a Gen2 G23 with about 25K thru it and just replace the extractor last year, and that only because half of the hook chipped off. The rest of it?? No issues at all, but I'm thinking that a spring change and parts check top to bottom might be in order...
