What is the shortest barreled Glock I can own in Canada with my restricted licence that is chambered in 9mm? I like the look of the 22 gen 4, but I think they only make them in .40 S&W.

So you couldn't buy one from a dealer with a 106mm barrel? Do they show up on the EE sometimes?

Hi,

I have seen dealers advertise some Glock models with 108mm barrels (4.25") in the G26 / G27 and G19 / G23 and similar sized models. The G26 I had came with a 5" ported barrel, which looked ridiculous. I have also seen 108mm BarSto barrels in stainless steel, but these are tight, expensive and accurate.

My understanding is that you may cut the barrel shorter, as long as it remains longer than 105mm.

To make things simple and you won't have to buy a Glock with a third party barrel, just buy either a Glock 19 (9mm) or a Glock 23 (40S&W). Both are genuine factory Glocks with a threaded barrel on them which meets the required minimum barrel length for Canada.

I have seen people who havee 19/26/30 with 106mm barrel which is minimum we can have in canada. I want a 30s with 106s. tiny gun with 10RD 45ACP. must be lots of fun...
