Glock - Scoring on firing pin safety and trigger bar

Hey,

I have a Glock with some scoring on the trigger bar and firing pin safety. Is this normal?

There are a couple thousand rounds through this gun. This scoring is rough and has some texture to it.

If I got some light sandpaper and smoothed it all out, would it have a smoother trigger pull?

Normal. You can do a 25 cent trigger job but YMMV.

Yep...lightly sand (1000-2000 grit) and polish with some flitz....should be right as rain.

Normal, but use a stone to smooth out the tooling marks on the FP block cam surface on the trigger bar. You will ill find it will smoothen your trigger pull by doing so.
