Hey, anybody know if I can swap a set of Trijicon H3 night sights off a G17 gen 2, for the factory sights off a recent-production Gen 3 G20? Are these interchangeable? I know the G20 slide is much bigger, so I don't want to mess anything up on either of my babies!

If so.... how do I take 'em off  ? I really would prefer the Trijicons on the G20...

Thanks
Rog

The dovetail's the same size, so you should be able to swap them, but the trick is doing it without damage; an armourer will use a screw-jack to replace sights without damage, but I'm not sure how you'd do it without that tool.

The sites are different, I believe to accomidate the point of impact differences. They will probably fit your gun, but once Trijicons are pushed into place, they may be loose. Once the sites are put on a gun they are crushed slightly to fit the slightly narrower dovetail on the Glock slide, once the site is crushed to a specfic gun, they may be loose or not fit altogether on a new pistol.

Short answer, no. POI will be off and sites may not work. Keep them on your other pistol and order a set for the G20.

All Glock standard sites are designed the same way, reinstalling sites is not recommended in the armours manual.

Hope this helps.
