Glock slide removal issue

The OEM trigger spring helps pull the trigger rearward, but the NY1 and NY2 trigger springs actually push it forward.

Your pistol - I think - might have an olive-coloured NY1 trigger spring.

Seconded.

Nope, its all factory original with only a couple hundred rounds through it. This was its first cleaning. Mag out, squeeze the trigger, work the slide and pull down the tabs... The trigger wants to reset, same for the striker as I'm trying to pull the slide forward?

Because I have no idea how experienced you are with Glocks, I apologize if this is a "duh" question......but just double checking;

You're not cycling the slide all the way back (or too far) when pulling down on the tabs, correct?

The slide only has to come back maybe 1/4"
