Yesterday I was at the range and beside me in the next booth was a guy with a Glock 27 .40cal (Prohib) with the short barrel. I was truely amazed on how small it was...I couldn't help myself, I had to ask to hold it. As I looked at this tiny glock in my hand It almost felt wrong, but yet so right :)

It was so bloody small I couldn't even get a grip with out the mag inserted with the pearce bottom. He passed me a little tiny 10-shot clip and said have at'er.

It was love at first shot...and now I'm going to buy the Glock 27 from QUESTAR. I already own a G17 and a G21, but now I need a sub-compact .40 cal. I'm not to keen on the stainless aftermarket 106mm barrel, but I noticed QUESTAR has the option on a black barrel...I wonder how the quality is of the aftermarket restricted barrels it comes with.

Any of you guys/gals grab a G27 or any sub-compact glock???
I couldn't find the extra magazine/pearce grip of the site, any help with that?

Any thoughts/experiences

It is 106mm barrel, 102mm would be prohib.

I have fired and owned MANY sub compact's from glock and they are outstanding and I have never had any issues with the aftermarket barrels.

Glock 27

I've shot the Glock 27 plenty... it really torques in the hand... eventually the novelty wears off... these days I prefer just shooting the standard Glock 22... but I do understand the 'want' of the cooler compact G pistol...

It was mine Saturday night. Yes it was a 12.6 with the original 88mm barrel. I also have a G35 and am looking at getting a G23.
