Glock Torture Test

I'm not sure if this has been posted. I was searching the internet to find how long the polymers in the Glock would last tell they became brittel and broke down (50 years? 100 years? 1000 years?). I came across this...

I actually kinda like the look of the final result... looks like it's an antiqued finish Glock

You should see what Larry Vickers did to Gen 3 and Gen 4 Glock 17's on TAC TV and they still worked:

buried in dirt

shot at close range with 12 guage shotshells

dropped from helicopter

run over by SUV

submerged

blown up with Southern Thunder

frozen in solid block of ice and dropped from second story window to smash ice

and more and they still ran.

All those results, and more, are exactly what I would expect from a Glock.

They're tough guns. I would like to see what the polymer breakdown over long periods of time would be. But who has their gun exposed to sunlight constantly, like a car dashboard in an Arizona parking lot?
Mine sits in a dark safe forever, and when it comes out to play, it gets cased and transported to a dark building. Come to think of it, I don't think my Glock has ever seen sunshine besides being cleaned on the kitchen table on a summer's the afternoon.

In actuality, the closest my 21SF comes to a "torture test" is when I fire 80 rounds at the range then don't clean it when I get home for a couple more range visits.
