Hi!

Been looking around for some kind of extended base plate for glock mags for my KRISS Vector and later Glock pistol, for easier reloads and easier manipulation of mags. But all the ones i found were like 30$ each, which is way too much since i may have up to 7-8 mags and wish to convert all of them if possible with those.

If i can't buy things like this for cheap, i have a few ideas to just modify the existing base plate to add volume and weight.

If you guys have any recommendations, tips or maybe some DIY solutions to help with this, i would greatly appreciate it.

We are in the process of making some Glock mag bases and would appreciate some feedback in terms of what people want.

At the moment we are looking at aluminum bases of different colors so mags can be readily identified as yours.

We did consider brass but the cost is very high and would effectively retail around $30.

I see. Best i could give in terms of feedback:

Something similar in size of +3 extensions. Not too big, but big enough to easily grab.

Doesn't have to be necessarily in aluminum or brass. A good, thick polymer could be good too, with a simple weight added inside of it.

A angled bottom. I like loading my mags with an uplula loader, so a angle would make the current mag able to stand straight up instead of leaning over like the olympic Montreal stadium.

A retail price of 20 would the max i'm willing to spend. Or a pack of multiples with a reduced price per unit. Ex: retail price of 20$ but buy a pack of 5 for 90 instead of 100.

Welcome to the world of magazine base pads. They're all in the $30+ range.

While I have no personal experience in them, you can find some on AliExpress for under $20 with free shipping to Canada, just be prepared to wait from 3-12wks for delivery. I meant to order a couple to beat the crap out of at the range to see how they hold up.

I bought a few S&J ones for sale for 15$ a piece.

Retail of $20 might be possible, assuming sufficient demand for the product.
