Does anyone know where in Canada you can send a Glock handgun for warranty repairs? I am getting hit by brass 5 to 8 times out of 10 shots.

You probably need a 47021 ejector. Obtaining the part on your own will save you a lot of time and frustration, because getting warranty service in Canada for firearms blows big baby chunks.

Glock long slide in 9mm. 4th Generation. Glock USA suggested using cartridges 124 plus.

New ejector definitely the answer. Mine was doing that as well. Newer model ejector, which was easy to change, and it ejects perfectly now.

That's what I love about Glocks. I can have them completely apart in minutes with no special tools or any tools for that matter.

My thoughst:

Most of the suggestions are probably right:
- new ejector (depending how old yours is, or faulty)
- have you done any upgrades to the recoil spring?
- do you reload or use factory ammo?

You said 2 hand hold for your grip, where are they hitting you: hand, face? etc

I had this issue with a G21 Gen4 many years ago. Shoot it more or replace the extractor. I opted for shooting it more.
Glock is a service pistol. Getting hit by spent brass is the least of possible concerns its operators have on their list of concerns. I dislike hot brass raining down on me and so do the women in my life that run gun so it was a concern of mine at the time. Just a typical Glock hurdle. You’ll get thru it.

Firearm was purchased new and has about 400 hundred rounds through it. No upgrades all stock. Use factory ammo. Getting hit in the face shoulders and arms.

How many rounds did it take to shoot through the brass hitting you issue?

Over 2500 rounds ……..
I’ve only made 1 YouTube video and it’s of this problem. Can’t believe it’s been 10years. Anywho, maybe just upgrade the extractor claw to a Zev or one of the other aftermarket ones. Ammo prices aren’t what they used to be. Check out blackbox customs to get you sorted.

Good news. After contacting Glock US again I received an e=mail from Glock Canada who assured me they will fix this issue.
Sure hope you are able to get help from Glock Canada. I’ve been waiting 3 years after being “assured”several times from them that the part will be sent out the next day.
Thanks to Glock USA and Black Box Customs in Calgary problem fixed with no charge.
