Hi all, I just want to reconfirm:

Is the frame of the glock(that polymer) the registered part of a glock handgun? Will I run into any legal problem ordering a complete Glock 17 upper(the whole slide) from the states?

Thanks!

Frame is the firearm...will likely still have ITAR issues with export from USA and may get held up by CBSA while they make sure you're not bringing a full gun through in parts (which happens and is usually never legit) and that you're licensed etc

Glock was forced to change their original design (Gen 1) for the frame and added a metal serial number plate imbedded in it.

Countries vary as to which part of the firearm is the controlled item. Fortunately, US and Canadian rules on that aspect
are pretty much the same - the frame.

Careful in the sense that: Don't make a mistake of ordering a Glock 19 upper with a prohib barrel? Lol
