If you read some of the magazines who do the testing on handguns and what you would find is that the Glock is one of the most durable guns you can buy.Forget everyone elses "URBAN LEGENDS"!! Do some reading from the guys who actually test them.Dont believe the story that buddy tells you about his buddies buddies buddy.There is a guy at Guns & Ammo that has put 180,000 rounds through his Glock 17 and still has it going strong.He has tossed it in the ocean for the salt and corrossion effect,barried it a block of ice and decided not to clean it for the duration for his tests. There is alot of "KNOW-IT-ALLS" but the people who have a reputation for knowing what they are talking about are the ones you should listen too.
