Hey guys purchased a glock 17 with a hera carbine kit. I went to the range the first day I got it and fired off 100 rounds with no issue. Yesterday I installed the carbine kit. When I fire it locks the slide up every time. Now it could be installation error but I'm seeing if anyone had other problems.

Is it a gen 3 or gen 4 glock? The Hera GCC is only meant for the gen 3, the gen 4 slide is slightly wider and will bind in the GCC kit.
