Just bought a Glock 35. I'm very happy with it.

The case it came in had a big warning on the side not to use remanufactured or reload ammo.

Is this just because lawyers also need to eat or is it a legit warning ?

They just want to use any excuse to void the warranty. use copper plate or jacketed bullet will be fine. I never use factory ammo on my guns.

I don't know about Glock, but the Springfiled and Ruger boxes have the same warning. It is the Lawyers talking... in case you blow yourself up with a double charge or something. As for Springfield, it has nothing to do with warranty. I just sent my 1911 Micro Compact back for ejector issues after a long converstaion with the factory rep about what type of ammo I had tried. This included various handloads (including lead projectiles) and they even paid the shipping even though I had purchased the gun used.

Doesn't every firearm manufacturer say that about reloaded ammo?

my glock has seen less than 500 rounds of factory. Typically, its when I got to a match and forget my ammo

I was shooting my 35 today with jacketed reloads and it now has 1000 rounds through it...it continues to work like a charm.
