Hi,i need fellow g'nut opinions on the best wood glue for a multi cracked P-14 stock, cracks are in the wrist part.I have completly degreased with heat and acetone am looking for a light texture glue which i could work into the smaller cracks, and with a similar milsurp colour, thanks

Get some small long brass screws and screw it together with glue in the crack. Thats how the military did their repairs..........

"Gorilla Glue" Its color is very close to the original stock and with a little careto wipe it off while clamping will leave an almost invisible joint.

You can use clear 2 part epoxy , remove part , go at it with a dremel from the inside if able, and have the wood warm over a rad for a couple hours, and if the gaps close with pressure, thats great duck tape after gluing, and later take some 320 , and clean it up followed by some tru oil.

Brass screws are a good idea. Do not simply use glue. Weldbond is great because it dries clear. An alternative to brass screws is to use wooden dowels to provide a mechanical bond. I'd use one going in from the top and one from the bottom on different angles for the best and strongest results.
