So...when I leave the buckshot shells in my DA Grizzly mags for a while, the white powder that they stuff the shot in with start to leak out through the crimp and make a mess in the magazine. I was contemplating using some Elmers white glue on the crimp just to seal it up and prevent the stuff from leaking...any issues by doing this?

I'm using Federal Premium Tactical shells.

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I thought of the white glue because it wouldn't really stick to the plastic, but might hang on just enough to keep the white stuff in. Also though of wax...I'll give it a try if the white glue won't stick even a little.

Cheers!

I use sodium silicate (waterglass).
It is sold as Imperial Gasket Cement (its for wood firepaces)
Got mine at Home Hardware

Gushulak: Wish I had more time...lol.

The white glue seems to be working. It's settled right into the crimps and seems stuck enough to hold that white powder inside the shell where it's supposed to be. Thanks! :)
