GMH9 Trigger Upgrades?

Looking for some information on what might be possible for trigger upgrades on the GHM9.

Any info is appreciated.

Will it take trigger packs like the Timney Calvin Elite?

Does it need a special PCC trigger with heavier hammer springs?

It takes the vast majority of AR15 triggers, but I haven’t seen any comment on that particular one.

You should be able to fit most AR triggers including drop-in types. Email either OEM (Timney or B&T) if you want to be 100% certain.

Should it help you, I fitted an adjustable Elftmann "Elf Match Pro Trigger SE" on mine. Got it from Brownells. I do not regret it, a hell of an improvement!

I asked Timney today if they made a trigger that would work on the B&T GHM9 and this is the response from Timney tech support I received today (2021/12/13): "we do not make a trigger that will fit the B&T."

I think that's more like a "we don't guarantee it will fit and don't want the hassle" type reply.

One thing about the B&T APC and GHM, the trigger bow is further out than on an ar15, so especially curved triggers will be noticeably closer to the palm of your hand. Geissele used to make a super APC but they cancelled it due to low demand.

OP, check the video link provided above. Right at the beginning Sean says GHM9 are compatible with AR style triggers. Look at the space available, plenty of it for compatible drop-ins - and the Elftmann's fit so...
I would risk it after making sure the trigger pin diameters are a match for your trigger.
