GMX Bullets…..?

Thinking of using for my 7-30 Waters.

What velocity do these prefer?

Sorry for the delayed response. Your question made me curious so I did a little research. In general the GMX requires 2700fps velocity at impact for proper expansion according to what I've been able to read. The CX on the other hand requires 2000fps. So the distance to critter could be a factor depending on cartridge type and basic muzzle velocity. I think this may be why they dropped the GMX for the CX but I'm just guessing. In general all mono coppers love speed. You know speed kills right? lol Cheers
