I am lookin for info on hornadys Gmx 139 gr. 7mm load data. I plan on doing a monolithic comparison between the tsx, the e-tip and the gmx. I already have the other two loaded and was wondering if the gmx is similar that the mid load is actually at max ( same as the e-tip) I'll be starting lower anyways, as I want a fair comparison. proably start off at 2950-3000 fps with 140 gr. tsx and e-tip. rl-22 or 7828ssc.any info would be obliged.

All of the above, I realize it will be subjective to the rifles I use and the shooters, but I plan on comparing to what I found with other bullets I tested for fun. I use 3/4" plywood, to simulate hitting bone/flesh and then have 5 gallon pails filled with water for a trap, it's not perfect but you get an idea. I'll post whatever I find.

I saw a show on Wild TV where they were talking to a guy from Hornady about the GMX bullets and he said that they designed them with reduced bearing surface so that you could use the same data as for the same weight SST or Interbond bullets.
After I typed this out I found the video: http://www.youtube.com/hornadymanufacturing#p/u/49/N0STsPpng_M

Thaks for the info been to the web site but never came across this. Seen ftx info, now that I think about it I heard that the sst and the gmx info was the same.
