The usual scene from my deer blind in November. Two groups of turkeys approx 25 per group( do we say flock?), 30 mins apart.

Was the same thing when I was out for deer. Can't wait for spring for turkey... Got To try again for deer next year though did not fill my tag with the 2 week shotgun hunt.

Hopefully the turkeys show themselves in the spring. Bloody buggers are always around until the season opens, then they disappear!

I don't hunt turkeys much anymore. Early spring to fall, the place is loaded with them. Not much of a challenge when they walk around the yard and pasture and take very little notice of you. When working around the shop or cattle pen they just act like farm turkeys. A few of them even get names, two toms that hung around with the long beards and there strut, we called zz-top.

Yeah ,same here. They only come around when I have the camera and not the shotgun. It's like they know.
