Gobsmacked at K98 Price

Saw an ad on ####### today. CE 41 K98 with stock cut down for sporter. All matching numbers( except for missing bits). Priced at $3800. WTF!!! I don't know where these guys get their prices from? Priced around $3200 too high imo but maybe I'm out too lunch? If I am I will happily stay here.

It will not sell. If bit are missing its not matching and if its a sporter its even worse. The guy would be lucky if can get 1.2k for it.

$450 tops and only if the bore is excellent and not cut down.

May be try an M48 from Yugoslavia. very much the same gun and only $800. That is what I did! Very beautiful gun!
