Just heading gopher shooting. I will bring the camera with and take some pic's. .17 HMR and .22 LR are the weapons I will be taking. See you in a few hours.

Here are a few. I shot the .17 HMR at all of these. I didn't have a chance to shoot the .22 LR. The .17 was to much fun.

This was the 1st of the evening, at about 50 yards. It was almost a two for...... they were standing side-by-side. This one was an instant kill, the other was flopping around like a fish.....but went back down its hole.

This Fellow was shot at about 100 yards, in the next photo I was sitting just behind the bush in the middle of the screen.

The rest were taken for 50 yards to about 110 yards.

praise the lord, and may the gopher gutz continue to fly. know an old priest from the town where my mother grew up, he would go out with his .22 and pick off the gophers

I was going to get more but I started to get eaten alive by the mosquito's. Very luck to have a cattle rancher who is about 20 minutes out of town that allows me to come and shoot whenever I feel like.

Ah looks like a little war zone out there! Wish we had thoughs in BC, well besides the farmers. Looks like fun, did that once when i was little will never forget it!
